13 Months

One of Wendys Valentine's Day outfits- she helped PJ pick out my present!

Wendy's other Valentine's outfit for church.

PJ and I got to go on a date to the movies for Valentine's Day!

And of course PJ (and Wendy) spoiled me with sweets and flowers. PJ also picked out matching necklaces for Wendy and I.
Baxter is continuing to warm up to Wendy. This day Wendy kept stealing his toy from him.

He eventually needed to get a breath of fresh air. But Wendy is never far behind!

I don't know if you can see the comb, but I had put Wendy's hair up and then she wanted the comb to brush Baxter. He obliged.

One day when I put her down for a nap, he laid right in front of her door to keep guard. See! He does love her!

Then there's the times Wendy just crawls all over him. As long as he's chewing on something he doesn't care.

Wendy also loves her little house she got for her birthday. She'll open the door, go in and then...

Shut the door and play. I find all sorts of things "inside" her house...

Some new pajamas from grandma!

And some cute pajamas from great-grandma.

The only way we could get her to stand still long enough to take a picture of the pajamas was to have one of us pose with her. PJ was a good sport since he was on his way out the door to get to work.

Sunday outfit! She had just stuck some food in her mouth- thus the peculiar face. PJ said he just wanted to sit down.

We were trying on Wendy's collection of shoes one day when I put on these pink jelly shoes. She loved them! She kept walking around looking down at her feet.

They are too big for now but I think we just found a new favorite pair of shoes.

And great-grandma sent a beautiful Easter dress. Wendy was anxious to look inside to see.

She was carrying it around with her- I think she approves!
We had to end our time at the little gym because it is very physical for me and I can only lift Wendy so many times before my back starts hurting! We had a celebration of bubbles on her last day though.

She has started climbing in to anything she can. I have tied a wire around the handles to her toy box and I drag her around the house sometimes.

"I'm ready for the train!!"

We have been blessed with beautiful weather the past couple of weeks so we have been having a lot of park days.

And exploring the back yard.

We had a play date with a friend who had a trampoline. Wendy loved it! I guess I know what's on her wishlist now...

Her little friend Reagan again.
We also ventured out on a hike. What I thought would be a 30 minute walk turned out to be hiking through the foothills for an hour. This pregnant lady can't handle such things but Wendy had fun!
And then there's just Wendy being silly Wendy.

She found these Mason jar lids and she loves playing with them! She likes to pop the safety seal on top.

While I was resting after cooking dinner, Wendy was trying on daddy's hat.

And finally her early Easter present- the biggest ball I've ever seen! She held it like this the whole way home. I have it hidden for now so it can be a nice surprise for Easter.
