Lilly's 4 Month Checkup

Height: 25.25" (75%)
Weight: 11 lbs 15.7 oz (6%)
Head Circumference: 16.24" (62 %)

So we have another tall and skinny braniac! She did great with getting her shots, cried when they were administered and then cooed at me (with smiles) all the way home. I was surprised to see how little weight she has gained considering she's eating milk and solids all day, but I guess she has a good metabolism!

W: 21 Months, L: 4 Months

One day, I put Lilly down to wiggle around and she rolled on to her side!

She hasn't done it again since so maybe she just really wanted to watch Family Feud...

It's hard to remember to take pictures before we get out the door to church, but this is one of Lilly in her Sunday best!

The only time I get to cuddle with Wendy is when she wakes up from her nap.

I thought she was sick but she just wanted mamma cuddles I guess.

We don't go outside as much anymore since it's getting cold, but when Wendy goes outside she lives it up!

I'm not really sure how she's able to get so dirty!

Finally leaving bows in her hair!

So cute!

Lilly trying out Wendy's chair.

I asked Wendy to sit with Lilly and put her arm around her.

They're both so in to the TV I don't think they even noticed me.

Waiting for daddy to get home, watching a show.

Lilly was impressed with the phone.

This time, Wendy sat down beside Lilly on her own accord and tried to hand her the toy phone she was playing with.

They'll be best buds one day...

A big ol' Lilly smile!!

I was trying to take a picture of the bow in her hair. This was the best I could get.

We took away the pacifier at the end of the month of October so Lilly resorts to biting/sucking her fingers.

Another day, another show with a popcorn treat. I promise they do other things than watch TV! I guess those are the only times I have a second to pull out my phone and take a picture.

We started Lilly on solids this month too. This is proof that both girls were content eating curried butternut squash soup. Wendy ate two servings!

We ventured over to a friends house one night while PJ was in school and they wrapped Wendy up like a mummy.

Wendy didn't know what to think but she left it on!

Daddy's turn feeding Lilly! The peaches were touching Lilly's soul.

"I"m so cute it's scary"

Venturing off to the park! It's really not as cold as it looks, I just worry about Lilly getting cold.

Wendy swinging, Lilly swinging!

We decided to go on a 5-mile hike one Saturday morning and it took a very long time. We took a break so Wendy could get out of the pack we put her in and walk around.

Lilly was content as long as I was holding her. And, of course, Baxter was in heaven.

Not long back into the hike, Wendy decided she was tired.

Even after a 5-mile hike, the yard works still has to get done! Luckily, Wendy was willing to help.

Daddy and Lilly.

Another Saturday morning, another hike. We let Wendy walk the first part of it.

She did pretty good! But did not last very long walking.

Lilly has fun

Here's everybody! Except Baxter. He was probably passed out in the car at this point.

Wendy playing with her Jack in the Box.

PJ got Wendy a night light she can hold. When I turned on the monitor to check on her during a nap one day, it looked like she was lighting a fire in her crib! But I realized she had grabbed hold of the nightlight and was playing with it.

Swinging s'more!

Wendy even tried a big-girl swing!

And she insisted we all go down the slide together.

Another day we went to Chick-fil-a to play since it was rainy. We were there 30 minutes and I kept on trying to encourage Wendy to come down the slide when I see...

I was so proud of her. But laughing hysterically at how she decided to come down.

One day, Wendy and PJ built a fort together.

On another Saturday, we got to go to the farm!

Wendy loved all the animals.

She even tried to climb in!

It was a little drizzly, so we gave Wendy her own umbrella.

Wendy loved the corn pit.

It is seriously a pit full of corn.

We also let Wendy lead us around the corn maze.

We got a little lost.

Lilly was asleep so I didn't mind.

Wendy came flying down this pipe-slide!

She smiled afterwards but said she didn't want to go again.

Last year, when we tried to put her on a spider web like this, Wendy just rolled into the middle. This year, Wendy conquered it!

Exiting off the other side.

Lilly just chilling!

We rode this cow train.

Even Lilly rode!

Wendy actually loved it and cried when we had to go but this was her face the whole time. Just wondering "What is going on??"

This was a haunted house you had to pay to go in. We just got our picture in front of it.

PJ showing Wendy how to put your face in the hole.

She thought it was so funny!

Throwing the balls!

Wendy found Lilly's Halloween costume in her room one day and wanted to put it on.

Sooo cute!

We have been eating a lot of soup these days. Wendy has become a pro at eating it herself too!

mmm good soup.

Trying to get a picture of Lilly in her Sunday best. She just wanted to go to sleep.

Wendy with her night-light Elmo and pig tails!

One day, while I was cooking, Wendy really wanted to get in the fridge.

Don't I feed you enough? Now you want to make your home in the fridge??

In one of my gym classes, we had a costume contest for Halloween and I won!

Lilly in her pumpkin costume! (She hated it)

Wendy as a bumble bee!

PJ as Rex from Rex Kwondo as featured in Napoleon Dynamite.

I tried to get a picture of Wendy with her mask she made, but she was too fast in taking it off.

We also dressed her as a princess.

Halloween party with a jump house!

Wendy trying to make a mask but more interested in chewing in the markers.
And all of us at the trunk or treat PJ's work hosted. Happy Halloween!
