Wendy had her 3 year old check up (a little late) and here are her stats:
Height: 3'5" (98%)
Weight: 37 lbs (87%)
Here are some more pictures from Pop's visit:
All Lilly wants to do at the park is swing. |
Wendy wants to sit in the baby swing because Lilly is in the baby swing... |
Playing in the sand. |
Building sand castles! |
Wendy's a great climber! |

Pop introduced Wendy to Frozen. He's created a monster! |
Lilly trying to get in sister's helmet. |
Look at that levitating ball! |
All the world's a stage! |
Lilly's not quite convinced she's not a baby anymore. |
Even Wendy is outgrowing her own toys! |
More Disney on ice!! |
"Hi Rapunzel!!" |
Lilly was tired on the way home and kept throwing her blankie over her head. |
Princesses can drive too! |
How quickly they wreck the playroom! |
"Alacazam! You're a frog!" |
We got to church at 2:00 so we often have to wake Lilly up from her nap to get her there. She's usually pretty out of it. |
It was probably 80 degrees outside but she insisted on snow boots! |
Scooting! |
Pop introduced the game "trick or treating" in which he hid play food all over the yard and Wendy would find it. I finally "hid" all the food from Wendy to get a break from the game! |
Once again, I'm pretty sure it was 80 degrees outside... |
Candy bracelets! |
Cheese! |
Wearing Pop's hat! |
Outdoor picnic. |
Fun in the bath! |
Snacking while watching shows. |
I finally had to tell Wendy she was too big for the baby swings. She's taken to the big girl swings pretty well. |
PJ has popcorn days at work in which he can choose from 10 salts to flavor his popcorn with. |
I offered to braid Wendy's hair like Elsa's one day. This was her reaction. |
I thought I did pretty well! |
She was not having it. |
This is a picture of a scene that is repeated in our home at least 4 times daily. This is when Wendy pretends to be Elsa and sings her version of "Let it Go". Notice the cape (blanket). Notice the glove (sock). Notice the clip in her hair. All of these elements come off at different points in the performance. Thanks, Pop... |
Playing hide n seek with Daddy. |
PJ bought me this shirt for Mother's Day and I broke it in while going on a 6 mile run! |
We were invited to a birthday party at a gymnastics gym. Consequently, when I tell Wendy we're going to the gym so I can work out, she thinks we're coming here. She was great at everything! Maybe gymnastics is in her future! |
Trying out braids again. |
Inspired by the Royal Wedding, I decided to dress Lilly up a little extra for church. |
Trying out a different park. |
We saw some friends and the girls wanted to swim with them. Only, I didn't have our swim gear. So I let them wade in the shallow end for a little while. |
Trying out fruit parfait's for dinner with breakfast. "Everybody likes a parfait" |
Lilly's pigtails!! |
I braided Wendy's hair, and then she wanted this boy in her hair. |
Pool time! |
Another day, another [sweaty] work out. |
One night, when we got back from the pool, I offered to give the kids a bath so PJ could get back to work. This is how I found him. |
Painting the ice Princess (Or is it the Ice Princess painting?) |
Lilly playing at church. |
Playdate with the sprinkler! |
Another work selfie. He got a hair cut! |
Crafting with Lilly. |
Trying out the Elsa braid one more time. |
Picnic dinner! |
They pretty much only sat down for the milkshakes. |
We had to go to the store for some food afterwards and Wendy was too tired to walk. |
Lilly hiding before bed one night. |
I was sick one Sunday and Lilly stayed home with me. She still wanted to wear her Sunday dress so we got the most sparkly dress and shoes we could find. |
How to keep kids entertained over the summer! (bored games and treats) |
Wendy started a dance camp this week so I was able to clean the house uninterrupted (Lilly is pretty good at entertaining herself). |
She was happy! And got a rainbow painted on her face! Performance pictures to come! |
Lilly was sad she couldn't get the elevator door closed. |
She recovered :) |
