W&L August 2018

Wendy helping PJ clean the cars before Pop and Mimi came to visit.

They're here!

Breakfast time!

Digging holes to nowhere.

Hanging with Pop (begging for candy).

This girl can scale a tree!

If you look on the counter, you'll see Blue Bell ice cream. You scream, I scream, we all scream for ice cream!

Lilly entertaining everyone after bath.

Bedtime stories.

More digging.

More climbing.

CHEESE!

"Smell my foot"

Lilly up from her nap and skeptical of the world.

Raspberries make the best snacks!

They like to put the raspberries on their fingers and eat them one by one.

The many faces of Lilly.

At the pool, Lilly has learned to dig through the pool bag to find all sorts of goodies.

Lilly going out the doggie door.

From what I heard, Pop, Mimi, Wendy and Lilly went on a walk and didn't bring the stroller. Thus, Lilly was mad she had to walk.

But recovered by bath time!

Park fun!

Then to the store for last minute supplies.

This was Lilly's reaction when I showed her the pink dress I was wearing for dinner one night while still on the cruise (below). I thought it was so sweet- she wanted a pink dress like mommy!

Wendy's special pillow.

Lilly dancing with the American flag.

Eating salad!

Wendy was putting on a show.

Lilly trying out the potty!

Piano duets!

And pizza picnics!

I think they had a good week but definitely wore them out! Thanks Pop and Mimi!

Back home giving the girls their souvenirs.

We got them these dresses in Jamaica.

And had cupcakes for PJ's birthday!

Then it was back to school shopping.

Wendy couldn't pass up these light up shoes.

And a new princess nightgown.

Lilly got in to my collection of baby clothes I saved from when they were little and decided this onsie made a cute jacket.

She has been very clingy since we got back! But I secretly don't mind.

Wendy got her first pair of high heels! They will be her church shoes in the winter time.

Posing with her friend.

Swinging in the sun!

Playing in the sand.

And we converted Lilly's bed from a crib to a toddler bed! She was so excited she could climb in all by herself (and my back is pretty happy too).

Playing at a new park.

Big sis, lil sis dynamics.

Lilly found this ball deflated and decided to use it as a vessel to fill up with sand and then dump out. Whatever keeps them entertained!

Chilling with her juice.

Wendy "helping" me make a cheesecake for PJ.

How we all feel when we're waiting for PJ to come home.

The finished cheesecake!

It's a beautiful thing.

As is status quo, there were a couple nights we found Lilly asleep on the floor rather than in her bed.

Families who brush their teeth together, stay together.

Bath time!

Wendy posing some of her new leggings.

I guess Lilly decided her bed was more comfortable than the floor.

Wendy got a back to school hair cut! This is the before picture.

Waiting for the salon to open.

Getting it cut!

They put some glitter in her hair.

And gave her a cute bow.

We decided to have lunch at Subway to continue the celebration.

All the before and after. She probably had about 3-4 inches cut off.

And then she styled my hair.

Lilly "brushing her teeth"

I was fired up one morning and decided to get my frustrations out with a run. I ended up running the fastest mile I have ever run (and wore Baxter out in the process)!

Wendy and Lilly love playing in the sand. I can't wait to take them to the beach!

Church fun!

Wendy loves playing with the umbrella so she and Lilly were going on a walk to the store.

Wendy playing hide and seek...

I had every intention of working out but Lilly wanted to cuddle after her nap. So I obliged. While she searched for treasure.

Wendy's name on the door for her classroom at preschool!

We are so excited for preschool to start!

I brought back out the kitchen for the girls to play with. They have done OK with keeping the food items picked up.

Taking first day of school pictures when we were going to meet her teachers.

She was super excited!

Cutest little preschooler you ever did see!
