We made it to 6 weeks! We're still working on getting into a routine, but things are starting to get a little easier. Here are the pictures from the last month!
Wendy has found a liking to her old car seat which is now Lilly's. I've had to start hiding it because Wendy seems to think it is her toy to play with. It was cute at first... |
One morning after feeding Lilly, I asked PJ to watch her while I took a shower. I came out of the bathroom to this sight. |
Wendy continues to adjust pretty well. I also love her pigtails! And she always wants to read a book. |
Playing at the park! |
"Drivin', Drivin' in my car..." |
While my sister was still here, Wendy discovered goggles. |
I think she would make a great scientist. (Mad scientist) |
Lilly was pretty fussy in the first 6 weeks of her life. This was a common sight. |
Followed by this one. |
Her first Sunday dressed in her Sunday best! |
Wendy thought it would be a good idea to transfer her goldfish from the zip lock bag... |
To the floor. Ah- the beauty of church with toddlers. |
One night, PJ was trying to put Lilly to sleep and I looked over and saw this face. |
We put Lilly in her first dress but she had already outgrown it! |
Wendy received a fun care package in the mail from her great-grandma. She thought the elephant was pretty funny. |
I was ambitious and took Wendy to the splash park one day. Luckily, Lilly slept the whole time. |
A cute shirt from a friend. |
Some art by Wendy |
We finally got around to giving Lilly her first bath at home. Wendy seemed to enjoy the company. |
It was a full bath! |
Lilly sporting the daisy dress! |
Going to church! |
Lilly checking out her little gym toys. |
One of many of Wendy's interesting hair do's. |
Wendy continues to love on Lilly. She also tries to help bounce her and put her pacifier back in. |
Lilly blowing some bubbles. She is growing fast! Already in 3 month clothing! |
My little present :) |
Wendy was checking the size on daddy's shoes to see if they would fit. |
Just right! |
Lilly continues to explore different faces she can make. |
A smile! |
And a seriously worried face. |
One morning I gave Wendy berries for breakfast and she was all about them! |
Wendy has also started covering both Lilly and Baxter with covers or, in this case, dish rags/burp cloths. |
Wendy also has a beau at church- our friend Joe. She loves playing with him! |
A Wendy selfie |
Wendy loves watching the trash man take our trash away. |
And anxiously awaits her daddy getting home! |
He might just be a little more fun than me. |
We dressed the girls in their grandpa best in anticipation of Jeff coming to visit. |
"Love my Pop" and "My Grandpa loves me" |
Play nicely Wendy! |
We were able to celebrate PJ's birthday with Jeff in town. Waiting for him on the table when he got home was a big bag of wooden pellets to put in his... |
Brand new pellet grill! |
Lilly has been breaking out of her swaddles which interrupts all of our sleep. I decided to try out the magic sleepsuit and, so far, she has slept great! Although she looks like an astronaut. |
Or maybe a giant Marshmallow man. |
The morning after 8 hours of sleep! (Followed by another 3) |
She's going to be tall like her sister. |
Pop and Lilly in her Sunday best! |
Trying to get Wendy to pose for a picture is almost impossible but at least you can see the attempt at coordination. |
Wendy loves her pop! |
Thanks for coming to Boise to visit! |
