W: 20 Months; L: 3 Months

Lilly got a new outfit! 

Wendy did too but, as usual, she wouldn't smile for the camera about it.

And even got up on her knees!

We're casually talking about the potty with Wendy and decided to get her some pull ups. She was trying to show me the cat on the pull ups but was having a hard time. 

I took the girls to the park one afternoon and tried Lilly out in a swing. 

I don't know why it surprised me that she liked it so much, but she was very content to swing for about 20 minutes! (It would have been longer if Wendy hadn't wanted to play on the playground.)

Of course Wendy loves swinging too.

PJ was making Lilly into Santa Claus one night in the bath. 

We found a Halloween costume for Wendy!

She will be a bumble bee (bzz bzz)

She was pretty excited about it. 

And also loves her princess dress we picked up for cheap. 

One night I was sitting down to rest while Wendy was taking a bath. I saw something out of the corner of my eye, looked, and saw this. Oh, Wendy. 

We ordered a sleep mask for Lilly because she seems to like to have her face covered when sleeping. (Even when it's dark in her room). Wendy decided to try it on for herself. 

Lilly finally got to have a turn in her exersaucer!

She really liked looking in the mirror- Who could blame her!?

I always have to make sure to get a picture of Wendy when I'm snapping pictures of Lilly. 

After I take the picture, Wendy always wants to come look. I turned the camera around so she could see herself and she started doing...

this. "Where's Wendy?"

"There she is!"

Lilly is already looking up to her big sister. 

And here's the baby sleep mask! It doesn't stay on super well, but it is pretty cute. 

One night I was making butternut squash mac & cheese and Wendy wanted to "help". She always likes tasting whatever I'm cooking with and really fancied the seeds in the squash. 

Lilly also got this svelte Elmo outfit from her great-grandma.

Lilly seemed to like the pool. She didn't cry anyway. 

Wendy had fun too. Even though the water is heated to 92 degrees, she was still shaking when she got out. 

Inspired by her new Cinderella dress, Wendy got to watch Cinderella! We almost made it through the whole movie.

I keep the doors shut of the rooms I don't want Wendy to go into and so she has started closing her own door. Sometimes while she's inside the room. 

We're trying to get Lilly to take the bottle so we can go on a date. This attempt was successful but Wendy also wanted to drink out of the bottle.

Wendy got her first Barbie and insisted that Barbie needed to eat lunch with her. 

The excitement has worn off a little but, but she had that Barbie doing everything with her. 

One day, while Wendy was playing outside, I sat Lilly in the Bumbo while I was paying bills. I looked over and found her like this. I tried putting her head back to where she was looking straight, but she was genuinely interested in the ceiling.  

Wendy decided to read to Lilly one day. 

Even showed her the pictures!

Sometimes she can be too cute. 

Wendy also got some new shoes. She was excited!

But wouldn't smile for the camera. 

We went to visit Daddy at work one day and played at the park behind his work. Lilly was content to swing. 

And if the swing slowed too much, she fussed like nothing else!

PJ fell ill this week but got in his cuddle time with Lilly. 

We also tried having Lilly join us for dinner. Wendy tried to share her food as well. 

Oh, Elmo.

It has started to get a little chilly so we brought out this coat Wendy's grandma got for her a year ago. She loved it!(But wouldn't smile about it on camera)

We gave Wendy some new Sunday toys and she christened them by putting goldfish in them...

And trying to eat the goldfish afterwards. Silly girl!

PJ threw me a surprise party which I have no pictures from somehow, and my friend came over to celebrate while PJ was at school! She spoiled me with great food and a good time!

One morning on our way to a hike. PJ tried to give Wendy piggy-longstocking Pig tails. 

The team sans Baxter on one of our Saturday morning hikes. 

If you look closely enough, you'll see the dessert end and the city of Boise rise up as though out of the mountains with the suburbs stretching out beyond that. It's a really interesting city!

This was a pretty popular hike- table rock. 

We made it! It was really hard. 

Selfies are hard to get but we had to get proof that we hiked this hard hike with kids in tow!
