W: 22 Months; L: 5 Months

This was the last hike we went on before it got too cold to go out in the morning. Wendy got to hike a part of it! And of course Baxter enjoyed himself.

Wendy got to have a little photo shoot. Who needs a professional camera person when you have a kid this cute!

I try to take pictures of all of Lilly's outfits so we can compare and contrast how Wendy and she looked at this age.

She was having fun goofing off for the camera though.

One Saturday morning, I took Baxter out on my bike and Wendy wanted to come along. This is how we let her go out of the house that morning.

She knows how to dress up though!

Lilly has gotten better at standing in her little exersaucer and interacting with the toys.

She loves the chickens just like Wendy did.

PJ was adamant that we were not going to put up any Christmas decorations until after Thanksgiving. So I blew up the snowmen inside so we could enjoy them.

Wendy trying out her new gloves.

We found a leftover Halloween mask in the car that Wendy colored so we took a picture of it to memorialize it (before we threw it away...).

Lilly trying pureed green beans for the first time. Needless to say, she was not a fan.

Before the cold pushed us inside, we got to have a few last park days. Wendy is starting to get really good at swinging on the big girl swing.

Lilly bundled up and swinging happily.

After Halloween, I hit up all the clearance sales to get Wendy some dress up clothes. She loved her first pair of high heels!

We also got some sparkly temporary tattoos. I kind of messed this one up but it was supposed to be a pumpkin.

And a moon.

Sometimes, if I wait to get Wendy out of her crib after nap time for too long, she starts doing crazy things. This day she looked as though she was about to fall over the edge backwards.

Another last park day meeting at the park behind PJ's work. Wendy in the big girl swing again!

Lilly eating a banana and chilling.

Wendy insisted "and Lilly too!" all three needed to go down the slide together.

One of Wendy's dress up dresses I got on clearance. Don't be fooled by the face. She loved it!

Lilly gets an attitude every once and a while. Here, she was not happy I put her down in her car seat.

The difference between Lilly and Wendy is that Lilly gets over it pretty quickly.

All smiles!

I had pulled out a few toys I wanted to trade in at a local kids consignment store and Wendy loved playing with this one! I thought it was so funny and took me back to when she was learning to walk and walked this toy around the house.

Playing outside, mowing the lawn.

Shaking all the leaves off the tree.

My friend Maelin continued to come over to keep me company on nights that PJ had classes. She and Lilly always had some fun.

Taking a picture of the girls' eating one night.

I had turned on a show for Wendy so I could get some things done and I walked in to find her completely enthralled by Stevie from High 5.

Chick-fil-a decided to change up their BBQ sauce and I was appalled. A good friend (Natalie Giddens) who works for Chick-fil-a let me know they were bringing back my beloved BBQ sauce. We went out one night and I saw they brought back the original BBQ sauce. Thank you Chick-fi-a and don't mess with a good thing! If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

One morning after I took Baxter out for a bike ride, Wendy walked him back inside. I thought it was so cute how he followed her and everything!

More dress up fun for Wendy. A new tiara!

And some clip ons. She loves them, but I think they hurt her ears.

We also celebrated Baxter's 5th birthday this month! We're not really sure when he was born but when we adopted him in April 2014, the paperwork said he was 2.5 years old. We counted backwards and decided we would celebrate his birthday in November. Happy Birthday buddy!

Oh, and Wendy's special necklace too.

We finally got to go on a date! We went to the temple and then picked up dinner from Panda Express. I know I'm getting old because the greasy food upset my stomach all night.

I dressed the girls to match one Sunday and this was the best picture I could get of them.

Trying to get Wendy to smile for the camera. Good luck!

The girls' trying to help me cook.

One night while we were waiting for bathtime, we had a dance party. Wendy insisted Elmo get in on the action.

Wendy walking in our leaves outside. Crunch crunch crunch!

Just proof that Wendy has some curl to her hair. When she wakes up, the back is always in some sort of curl.

I'm not really sure. Maybe I took a picture of her messy face?

Since Wendy loved the baby walking toy so much, I got her a shopping cart to push around the house. She loves to chase Baxter with it!

One afternoon Wendy slept in so it gave me some alone time with Lilly.

Look at that smile! "Everyone is thankful for me!"

Even Baxter.

She was playing on her little play mat and then....

She rolled over! She was not happy, but I was impressed!

Lilly playing with her toys (yelling at the pig).

Then Wendy joined us and whenever these girls are together, Lilly is always enthralled with Wendy. They're going to be such good friends! One day...

She's saying "cheese" but doesn't quite understand the smile for the camera.

Until she sees herself in the camera. So pretty!

For our Thanksgiving FHE, we drew what we were thankful for and then traced our hands around them and put them on the cabinet so we can remember.

This was an exciting night! Wendy and Lilly were taking a bath together and then I took Lilly into her room to feed her and put her to bed. In the meantime, Wendy started pooting in the bathtub so PJ put her on the toilet. He sang to her a few songs and then... she pooped in the toilet! We were all so proud of her. Ever since then, she tells us she needs to go poo poo (all day) and we sit her on the toilet every once and a while so she can get used to it.

Thanksgiving! Lilly is passionate about it!

I asked Wendy if she would smile for Pop and this is the picture I got.

Followed by this one. "Hi Pop!"

The girls together.

Oh, Wendy wanted Barbie in the picture too.

The girls playing together for a minute.

Wendy and Daddy time.

The day after Thanksgiving, we went to work decorating the house for Christmas. We were pretty proud of the end result!

One last time with the snowmen inside.

We would run and dance around them because they played "Jingle Bells".

Wendy pushing her little cart!

One night while PJ was getting Wendy ready for bed, she started asking to play "Patty Cake".

"Patty cake patty cake bakers man. Make me a cake as fast as you can!"

"Roll it"

"Pat it"

"Mark it with a B" (She actually kind of drew a B in the air) We were both so impressed!

O Christmas tree!!

For the past three years, we have gone to the Boise Festival of Trees with our friends Sue and Russ Waln. The girls did well looking at 50+ Christmas trees with all different themes.

Wendy admiring a tree.

She tried to sink as far back as possible when she saw Santa.

Lilly was too busy admiring to smile for the picture.

Wendy started getting bored so we brought her to the kid area to play for a little bit.

They had a game where she got to pick up 3 ducks in order to win a prize.

First duck was a dud.

And then...

winner! She got 2 rubber duckies that we still don't know where they are.

Then she got to go fishing!

I tried to capture the person under the table who grabbed the clip and put a toy on it for Wendy.

I think she liked it...

PJ has been watching Disney movies with Wendy on Sundays. She really likes Snow White.

Until the wicked step mother comes on. Then she covers her eyes and wants to disappear.

Before church one Sunday I was trying to capture her cuteness. She actually smiled!

"Cheese"

Pretty Wendy.

Wendy has started putting her books on the piano and playing from them.

Then she wanted Lilly to come play with her. Here they are praying.

One night, Wendy was running around the house naked before bath time. She thought it was hilarious so I had to snap a picture. It will embarrass her some day...

Whew! What a busy month. December will bring many more memories, I'm sure!
