Lilly's 6 Month Check-up Stats:

Weight: 13lb 6.8oz (5%)
Height: 26.3" (60%)
Head Circumference: 16.93" (68%)

Life with babies.

I was in the habit of putting Wendy's hair in a half pony-tail to keep her hair out of her eyes but one day, I noticed her hair was too long to continue doing it!

One day, while bringing groceries, I just decided to sit in the car for a second just to have some peace and quiet.

We have had quite a bit of snow during the month of December. Wendy's initial reaction to it: "NO."

Wendy learned how to feed Baxter this month.

If I leave the pantry door open, Wendy goes straight for Baxter's food to feed him. Thanks girl!

Lilly's snow suit. It keeps her warm and toasty!

One night, Lilly was "chasing" Wendy around. Wendy thought it was hallarious.

Lilly attacks!

Wendy decided to try on my Coach snow boots. She has good taste.

I am finally able to put Lilly in the cart! She's not quite big enough, but Wendy enjoys her company.

After our first snow, I decided to shovel the driveway to help PJ out. That will probably be the last time I shovel a driveway.

Wendy and I got to play with some face paint.

She was really upset when we stopped.

She just looked so good!

Wendy grabbed this charger and stuck the plug into her ear. One of those "no, Wendy, that's not how you... nevermind. Whatever"

Watching TV with my girls.

So hard to get them to smile at the same time!

Wendy Selfie.

Lilly lights up with Baxter comes around.

Baxter loves licking her slimy face too.

Lilly playing with her chickens with true intent.

Happy Lilly!

For a week or so, Lilly started learning how to reach for things so I would find her with just her arm straight up in the sky. This time it looked like she was raising her hand to get a word in edgewise.

You can't really tell in the picture I don't guess but Wendy was pretending to feed her baby while I was feeding Lilly.

Sometimes I have to take pictures to prove to myself there are times when my house is clean!

Playing with diaper boxes before we put them out to be recycled.

Smile!

Smile baby!

Wendy trying on PJ's hat.

I put Lilly in "Wendy's house" to play with her and Wendy loved it!

Wendy started showing Lilly how to play with it.

Wendy trying on my gloves during lunch one day.

We decided to trade out some of Wendy's toys and I found this baby doll Wendy's great-grandma bought for her almost a year ago.

Wendy carries it around with her everywhere!

Lilly has also taken a liking to her toys.

Fun with a Viking hat.

Shoveling snow for the 100th time in December. We usually don't get this much snow!

Photo shoot with Daddy!

The hat wonderfully complements the dress.

Lilly's great-grandma bought her this monogrammed outfit so we had a photo shoot.

Bathtime! Notice how long Lilly is now!

Wendy also brings her Barbies around with her everywhere after she received them for Christmas. This day, she wanted her Barbies to watch her show with her.

PJ got a 3-D pen and "drew" a robot. Wendy got to the eye before I could take the picture however.

Dance party!

Our Viking with the boots she received for Christmas.

Wendy and I went to this huge indoor play place one day. It was a little too big for her so I had to help her on it but it was really fun!

Using another present Wendy received for Christmas, Wendy decided to write a letter to her Pop.

She told me what to write, then she took a turn. Oh, how she loves her Pop!

Christmas dinner. It looks like Wendy is threatening PJ with his fork so we can eat!

Even in the snow, sometimes you've gotta have a park day.

Where would you put your baby while you were trying to get ready?
PJ got Lilly this hand mirror for Christmas and she loves looking at herself in it.

I mean, can you blame her?

Lilly got a little impatient while waiting for PJ to feed her one day so she decided to take her feeding into her own hands.

"You talkin' to me?"

Wendy eating her soup.

We were able to continue our celebration of Christmas when we received Grandma-Kelly's Christmas package!

Wendy has become good at pulling gifts out of boxes.

"For Lilly!"

Wendy decided to pull all of her hairbows out of her drawer one day and asked me to put them in her hair. Whatever works!

Playing ring around the rosey.

One day while cleaning, I left the kids in the same room and they were quiet! I peeked around the corner and Wendy was actually playing with Lilly.

It only lasted about 10 minutes, but it was wonderful!

A friend was upgrading her piano so she offered her old one to me- for free! It's been fun playing on a better piano.

Silly Lilly!

Since we have been homebound a lot more, I decided to stock up on craft ideas to do with Wendy. This day she was supposed to stick the pipecleaners in the holes of the colander. She kept on sticking them all the way through the holes to where they disappeared instead.

So we made it into a hat!

Then I showed her how we can string fruit loops onto the pipe cleaner.

to make jewelry!

Edible jewelry of course.

On another day, we played with paint. This was Wendy's smock (accented with a beaded necklace/belt of course)

We put stickers on the paper first.

And then painted over them.

Once the paint dried, we peeled off the stickers.

Wendy got to go to the nursery at church for the first time this month and she loved it! The theme the children are learning for the year is that they are a child of God.

Daddy with his girls!

Oh, Wendy.

Lilly's getting better at sitting up on her own so PJ can balance her on his hand now.

One Sunday morning when we were snowed in and church was cancelled, I made a french toast casserole. Lilly got to sit in her high chair for the first time too!

One of Wendy's friends had a birthday party at the Little Gym. We had a lot of fun!

I'm pretty sure she only ate the icing off the cupcake.

Lilly had her 6-month check-up and got 4 shots. She passed out in the car on the way home.

And finally, We have had so, so much snow! The following pictures will give you an idea of how snowed in we have been for the end of December/beginning of January.
