W: 2 yrs; L: 16 Months

Wendy helping PJ mow the lawn.

Before a hike, we stopped at McDonald's to get breakfast. When we got back, I tried throwing away the leftovers and Lilly found them and started eating them (eggs). Off the garage floor.

Here are the carnival pictures I mentioned. Wendy's first roller coaster!

Tea cups!

Wendy and Lilly helping to put away silver ware.

Lilly "sweeping"

My birthday! I got to spend the day at the spa and shopping so, when I got home, PJ and the girls had presents set up for me.

They just wanted the cupcakes.

Lilly looking for Baxter food.

I got to start up a book club with some friends. Our first book was The Guernsey Potato Peel Pie Literary Society.

Lilly has started to want hair bows in her hair.

Family bike ride! Wendy hates getting in the cart with Wendy.

But we made sure to stop at a park so they could play.

What about this hair bow??

PJ tried on this mask and Lilly did NOT like it.

Posing with my girl.

In the nursery at church.

They already have Christmas hats out :)

I was doing yard work one day and this little guy came out to say hi. Oh and then another one did. I haven't been back in the yard since...

Wendy loves Olives! She was sticking them on her fingers and eating them.

Lilly climbs down the stairs backwards so Wendy was trying to mock her.

Getting ready to go to the airport to see Aunti Amber!

PJ was sad to see us go. I was carrying a duffle bag, Lilly, 2 car seats, and holding Wendy's hand while pulling the roller board.

PJ golfing with co workers.

While at my sisters, we went to a farmstead!

Wendy went putt-putting for the first time.

Lilly just wanted to wander around.

Duck race!

Playing in the corn.

Spider net!

Lilly wanted to join.

Wendy going on the zip line!

Pumpkin train.

Jumpy pillow thing!

My mom's new ride.

Getting ready for Hannah's baptism!

Smile, momma!

The beautiful girl of the hour.

Wendy was following Hannah around pulling up her dress because Hannah was pulling up her dress so she wouldn't get it dirty. Wendy pretty much wants to be just like Hannah- no matter the cost.

Family cheeses!

I sneaked a picture of the actual baptism. Now, when we talk about baptism, Wendy says "No! Hannah got baptized!". I guess she's the only one allowed.

Wendy putting on a concert for us.

We made it through church!

Reunited with daddy at Chick-fil-a ... of course!

Watching shows.

Some houses in our neighborhood put up awesome Halloween decorations. So Wendy and PJ would go out at night to look at them all lit up.

PJ got the room ready for Pop to come visit.

Pop took some great pictures of the girls too!

We discovered glow sticks while he was here. I'm still finding them in random places.

We went on a hike while he was here and stopped to throw rocks in the river.

Lilly fell asleep.

PJ had a little fall.

Back for lunch and then off to bed!

Pop was kind enough to watch the girls so PJ and I could go on a date. The kids were happy to have some Pop time.

While on our date, PJ and I found a candy store with... gobstoppers!

And some decadent truffles.

Trying my hand at braiding...

"CHEEEEEEESE!"

Spider headband for Halloween!

This girl has her scowl down!

On a walk with Pop.

Ice cream! When it was all gone, it was time for bed and Lilly yelled "ice cream" all the way up the stairs.

Wendy discovered she could wake Pop up very easily by tickling his feet.

Park time.

Lilly started going down the slide by herself but she goes down backwards. So Wendy joins her!

So modelesque this one.

We gave Wendy her gobstopper and this is what she looked like afterwards.

I couldn't resist....

Pop and Wendy twinning!

I guess I was really in to whatever I was playing.

PJ knocked out his gobstopper by the way.

For Halloween, our church threw a Halloween trunk or treat. We were responsible for making props for the selfie station.

Pumpkin patch!

PJ took Wendy to the Wildflower Center to see the butterflies.

And then we had some manicure time!

Wendy found her dress up clothes and wanted to dance. So she pranced around on her tip toes and turned in circles while we watched ballet.

Pony tails!!

Finally! The two of them together still and smiling!

And then they decide to drink bath water...

There's that scowl again.

For the record, her hair is growing! Just very slowly.

Lilly found these earphones and was walking around the house with them on and eventually settled down to watch TV with them on.

Another book club "And Then There Were None"

Making cup cakes for the Halloween party!

Then we had the Activity Day girls come over and decorate them.

Pumpkin carving!

It actually got cold right before Halloween so we turned on the fireplace.

Lilly sweeping again.

Diva :P

The Halloween party got a little boring for them so PJ took them into the nursery to play while we waited for the trunk or treat to start.

Happy Halloween!

They can be so cute.

On Halloween, I dressed the kids up in their costumes and went to Whole Foods to pick up some last minute things. Wendy found this  picture board and insisted she take some pictures with it.

Trick or treat!

Activity Day girls making Kindness Rocks.

Final pictures with the Halloween decorations.

In Wendy's Halloween candy was some gum and, even though I tried to take it away from her before she fell asleep, she somehow ended up sleeping with it and getting it in her hair. So, we utilized the peanut butter trick. Followed by shampoo, conditioner, de-tangler, and a blow dry. She was a trouper!

Followed by a dance party!

Then... it was time for Wendy's 1st hair cut! (Lilly did not like the dismembered heads hanging around there...)

Before...

ahhh the first cut!

Lilly was happy to play with the toys all by herself.

She did so good! And got to watch The Little Mermaid.

All done!

Apparently it was too much for Lilly.

We cut off about 5 inches.
