W: 3!! L:19 mos

One night, I put on a face mask and came in to say hi to the kids in the bath. Lilly did not appreciate it.

And then she got really worried about me. Why is mommy green!?!

She recovered and tried to fold herself in this box for a while.

The girls playing in Wendy's new bed-tent.

One day, Wendy decided she needed her beanie and sunglasses on to watch TV.

Driving the cars!

Wendy has become very good at putting puzzles together.

Playing in the church parking lot for playgroup.

Having some dress up time.

Ah! A witch!

Baxter got in on it too.

Princess Wendy waving her wand.

The girls settling in to play the "Micky Game" with Daddy.

Getting Sunday best dressed.

Wendy has stopped napping in the afternoon but Lilly still takes naps so Wendy has started having "quiet time" with movies. This day she was watching Annie and reenacting the "hard knock life" scene.

We have been having glimpses of spring weather and when we do, we go outside as much as possible to enjoy it. Here's Wendy's making "leaf angels".

Then she asked Lilly to come play with her in the leaves.

Still taking baths together too (and mostly enjoying it).

They need them at the end of the day!

Lilly trying to swing on my lap but she's starting to be too big!

Of course, the nice day of weather we had was followed by snow/hail.

We decided, since we're in the Longhorn state, we mine as well go to Longhorns. Lilly loves her ice cream.

PJ dressing for the job (of Daddy).

About to go out for my morning run.

PJ going on a walk with Lilly.

Lilly trying to pet the cat.

Driving in her car. She had all the toys to herself because...

I was with Wendy at Urgent Care. A minor ear and sinus infection, turned out.

Girls that use the potty together...

Cheese!

Cool girl, Lilly.

After about two weeks of quiet time, I came in to check on Wendy and found this. I was angry. And stumped. Was coloring on a mattress worth yelling, beating, etc over?

I decided to load them up in my running stroller and go for a run (after a long discussion with Wendy about why she is never allowed to touch markers again).

I ran to a park a little ways from the house and the girls got to play until dinner time.

I felt much better and *hopefully* didn't scar my child in the process.

Another month, another book club.

Back from a run right as it started to rain.

Baxter got a little excited about making sure I didn't stay wet.

Wendy learning how to box.

Lilly waving to the ants. "Bye ants".

One night, as we were going to bed, PJ saw an opossum on our back fence. That stinking thing gets into our trash all the time!

Aaand on to a warm weather day. Hopefully these will become more common.

The girls pretending it's nap time.

Wendy's Princess Birthday Party!

Since Snow White was the princess of choice, I made apple-shaped cup cakes.

And we had apple juice with apple fritters.

Decorate your own tea cup table.

Decorate your own crown table.

We had Cinderella...

And Belle...

And Snow White! What a lovely crown you have Snow White.

Lilly making her crown.

And we had a special surprise- Rapunzel came to Wendy's party too!

Rapunzel and Snow White taught the kiddos Princess lessons. How to bow...

How to wave...

And then they played some parachute games.

Wendy eventually got to stand in the middle of the parachute and jump around.

Then they all hid.

Then it was story time.

And face painting time.

It's hard to say if Lilly enjoyed the princesses or the food more...

Finally bubbles!

And photo time!

Wendy's little buddy Spencer. She received a lot of cool gifts from her friends.

And after nap time, we took her out to build her own bear (or Pikachu).

For her birthday dinner, I made mac n cheese.

And an apple cake.

Make a wish!

The traditional photo.

This year she kissed me back!

Yummy cake!

And ice cream!
