W&L February 2019

We started out February by preparing for Wendy's fourth birthday! PJ took Lilly to Wal-Mart to pick out Wendy's present while Wendy and I baked cupcakes. 

Wendy chose to have pinata cupcakes- yellow cupcakes with M&Ms inside topped with chocolate buttercream. They were a hit!

Lilly picked this Vampirina microphone for Wendy. 

For Wendy's preschool, we made mini cupcakes with sprinkles and an M&M on top. 

Surprise! 

Wendy had her birthday party at Locomotion and had 25 friends come to celebrate with her!

Opening presents!

As part of the party package at Locomotion, Wendy got to pick out an animal to stuff (it wasn't build a bear brand but she doesn't know that). She named it Berry. 

Poor Lilly was having a go with some kind of bug. I gave her some Tylenol and made her go to Wendy's party but she was pretty pitiful for the rest of the day. 

Spending most of Sunday cleaning only to find PJ so tired...

Superbowl Sunday had me like...

Wendy's Birthday day! She woke up to some fun presents. 

Lilly had a rough time watching Wendy open all her birthday presents. She kept cry-whining "I want to open presents!"

Once Wendy left, I did Lilly's make up with Wendy's play make up. 

Then we went to school to have lunch with Wendy!

And give out her cupcakes. 

It was so sweet to see her with all her friends!

Lilly got to play with the big kids after they were done eating. 

And got welcomed in to circle time for a story. 

Then we booked it to the playground to play some more!

And then I introduced Wendy to the Wii. They don't make them anymore but I found one at a Game Stop!

We have been working on potty training and Lilly has had a hard time pooping on the potty so one day I was trying to wait her out and she ended up falling asleep. *sigh*

For Wendy's birthday, I told her she could go to fancy dinner but Lilly was still feeling pretty poorly (even after taking a nap on the potty) so PJ took her on his own. 

She even dressed up her bears- Strawberry and Berry. 

PJ took her to The Olive Garden and she loved it!

Pop called during to wish her a Happy Birthday. 

Lilly and I played at home and I tried desperately to get her to eat anything. Pictured is GoGurt. 

Wendy loved having the waitress sing to her and I think she got all the Birthday's out. Until next year!

The YMCA has been hosting a fundraiser so they had this fun balloon display.

Lilly was pretty excited. 

Then she was off to play with toys as soon as we got home. 

Then she was heart broken and begging for cheese but I wouldn't let her have any because she hadn't pooped in three days!!

On a different day, Wendy found a mushroom at a park and wanted me to take a picture. As soon as I did, Lilly promptly stepped on it and ruined it. There were major tears. 

PJ hosted a family night and taught the girls about how Jesus can heal us and told the story about how Jesus healed the leper. Then he let the girls draw on him with markers to give him leprosy and washed it off to show how Jesus can heal us.  

On Friday's, we have donut dates!

It was so cold, it actually "snowed"! Well, Texas snow. 

The girls love curling up in their tent and watching YouTube shows.

She said a beautiful prayer all by herself. 

We checked the mail and found packages!

They were from Great Grandma and it was nice to have a little surprise after Wendy's birthday to keep the celebration going.

Back to the dentist!

Wendy did not like going back in the chair and I think she was very close to swatting the woman's hand out of her mouth. 

Then it was Lilly's turn!

She also didn't like her poking around in her mouth. But they did great!

After the dentist, we went to a friend's house for a playdate and they both passed out in the car on the way home. 

Once we got home, it looked like Baxter enjoyed himself. That dog!

Lilly pooped on the potty! She got this donut as a reward. She has since become much more regular and is a pro at going on the potty!

This was PJ's reaction. We were both getting tired of changing poopy underwear.

From February 1st to Valentine's Day, the "Valentine's grimlins" came and left a present for the girls every night. Sometimes it was candy, sometimes it was a small toy. They were so excited every morning to see what was in their mailboxes!

Then, on Valentine's day, I picked up these heart-shaped ravioli to celebrate!

Trying to keep things healthy but those ravioli's were really good!

We went on a nature walk when we were treated with almost 90 degree weather!

Even Baxter was excited.

With all the play make up we received for Wendy's birthday, Lilly decided to draw on the wall of the playroom. Then it was Lilly's responsibility to clean the lipstick off the wall of the playroom.

After bath time, Lilly decided she wanted to be Lobo and wear the costume to bed. 

While getting ready for church, Lilly discovered PJ's earphones and danced around the room to Ghostbusters on repeat. 

I bought these puppy dog leggings for Lilly and she loved them! She loved them so much she wanted to sleep in them and then wear them to church the next day. I feel like I made a Sunday appropriate outfit out of them!

After my workout but before we started cleaning, I played "Princess restaurant" with the girls in which they pretended to be different princesses and I cooked them a meal. They loved it! 

Of course, where one mess is cleaned up, another one is made. Handy work of Lilly. She also had to clean this one up.

Donuts with Dad day at the Preschool! Since the kids won't be in school for Father's Day, they celebrated early. The kids sang the dads some songs and then joined them to eat donuts. 

Meanwhile, while I was cleaning, Lilly was playing with dolls in the bathroom sink. I was really surprised to see her literally playing with the dolls IN the sink!

We live really close to Wendy's preschool so I was determined to find a walking path to get there on nice days. We found one but it was a little dicey going through the woods. 

Headed back to the house after making it to the preschool and playground.

At Wendy's preschool, they had a month of meeting the helpers in the community. This visit was from the Dentists!

Then they got to have a visit from a Police Officer! Wendy was terrified he was going to take her to jail!

Then they got to have a visit from the Firemen!
