W&L July 2019

Wendy on her way to dance class showing off some of the moves she's learned.

Lilly in dance class.

We got to have a play date with Wendy's classmates at a splash pad!

In the strip mall where the splash pad is, there is this cool photo op wall with flip sequins.

The kiddos sat on this chair for a picture and then the sales lady came right out and said "don't sit on that!" We at least got our picture :)

We did a lot in mommy preschool this month! We learned about Africa and made necklaces out of plates that look like the necklaces the tribes in Africa wear.

Lilly got a hold of the phone and took some selfies...

Coloring for 4th of July.

PJ smoked some pork for our dinner for the 4th of July.

It was delicious.

Glow sticks and fireworks!

Happy Birthday, America!

Some crafts we made at preschool: fire works with glitter and a giraffe puppet.

Getting ready for dance class and I couldn't believe how long Lilly's hair was!

While the girls are in dance class, PJ and I walk around these trails and we've been seeing deer! They look close enough to touch.

Playing at the playground after dance class.

Wendy wanted an audience so we set up her Barbies to watch her puppet show.

Wendy's long Hermoine hair!

We all got hair cuts in July. Wendy went first.

And then it was time for Lilly.

The girls got to go to gymnastics camp again in July and they had a blast making crafts and playing on the gymnastics equipment!

I thought this summed up summer pretty well. Cookie eating and Ipad watching.

Lilly on a tree outside of the gymnastics building. She was pretending to be scared.

Lilly making her home in the tire on the playground.

Swing Wendy, swing!

The last day of gymnastics camp, we took the girls to Sonic to get some ice cream.

Cool kids!

Baxter likes to sit under the desk and Wendy tried to join him. You can tell how thrilled he is to have company in his den.

Sometimes I have to laugh at Lilly's fashion statements...

Wendy loves her Strawberry!

Zebra masks we made in mommy preschool.

Fun at the pool!

Until your kids would rather play in the drainage line outside the pool...

There we go!

Mommy preschool fun.

Baxter watching the squirrel dig for nuts. Proof that they're actually friends although he'll chase them away if they come close to the house.

Isn't he the cutest!

Lilly doing her dance moves.

PJ and I finally got to have a date night and we went to go see The Lion King in the movie theatre in the mall.

He tried on a few things while we waited for the movie to start...

Lilly zooming on the tricycle!

Playing dress up!

The calendar that comes with the lessons for the Learning Box curriculum I use for "mommy preschool" alerted us to the fact that there is a national ice cream day in July! So we made some crafts

And went to get ice cream!

They have a huge chess board outside the store and Lilly decided to make a throne for herself out of the pieces.

We ducked in to Claire's as well for fun and Wendy loved this headband with pink hair.

On another day of mommy preschool, we were supposed to build castles out of rice krispie treats. Here's Wendy's...

And there's Lilly trying to build a castle. I was surprised they didn't spend as much time as I thought they would building the castle. They built the castle as fast as they could so they could get to eating!

All the girls lounging in bed in the morning.

Lilly was super excited about some Anna and Elsa pajamas we found at Costco. So excited it turned her into a zombie.

We made wizard hats in mommy preschool.

The girls got to go to a birthday party at the fire station!

And then they asked for volunteers to dress up in the fire suit.

Of course I volunteered.

After church one Sunday.

I tried to take a picture of Lilly but the flash was on and the ended up covering her eyes.

Wendy has been putting sticker eyes and mouths over her real eyes and mouth and likes to "scare us". Overall, we had a really fun July!
