11 Months!

Wow- What a busy month! I can't believe the next post will be for Wendy's first birthday!

We started out the Christmas season by taking family photos for making Christmas cards to send to family and friends.

The photographer was very impressed with both Wendy and Baxter.

Once we were done for the day, the photographer asked if she could take more of Wendy another day. Wendy is just too cute!

We started the tradition last year of doing an activity-based advent calendar. Wendy and I started out shopping for PJ's Christmas present.

Every year the zoo in Boise offers a free day on which the zoo gives Christmas presents to all the animals!

Wendy was very interested in the monkey's.

Waiting for the Wallaby's to receive their Christmas presents.

Watching the animals.

Another activity we were able to participate in was the Christmas party PJ's work hosted.

We played a game in which the DJ called out different things we needed to bring him and if we were the first to bring it to him, we received a prize. This one was "bring me a man with a red mustache".

One of our favorite activities was visiting Santa! Wendy was a little unsure of him but she at least got a candy cane from him!.

In the building Santa was located was a model train display. Wendy loved watching the trains go by.

Then off to viewing lights around Boise. This house was featured on the ABC Family lights fights show.

Wendy loved it!

Different house, still mesmerized by the lights.

PJ and I were able to support his co-worker by seeing him in this play. It was cute!

One of our last activities was eating at Cracker Barrel. If we can't be in the south for Christmas, we can at least eat as though we were!

Our advent calendar with our stockings hung with care!

Some of our other low-key activities were coloring Christmas pictures and making snow flakes.

We also made treats for our neighbors and friends.

Obtaining quite the collection of Disney memorabilia!

We also made Wendy's first ornament- her new born beanie and bracelets.

We made sure to make cookies for Santa...

And a cake for Jesus...

And boy were we spoiled! Thank you everyone for the generous gifts you sent. We were shocked with every package that came our way.

My presents from PJ.

PJ's presents for me.

Wendy's presents for us.

Presents from Grandma- Kelly

Presents from Great-Grandma Rachel

Presents from Grandpa-Jeff

Presents from Uncle Brad

Presents for Baxter

More presents from Uncle Brad
Merry Christmas Everyone!

Now for some silly shots of our silly girl:

One day while I was playing the piano and Wendy was crawling around, I heard what sounded like "MOM!" and I turned and saw Wendy stuck in this position. She stuck up her head and smiled so I knew she was OK (and snapped a picture) but I don't think she knew what to do next.

We try to keep our bedroom door shut because there's too many things for Wendy to mess with in there but one day we left it open and when I went to find her I discovered she had found PJ's cheerio stash from the previous night. She continuously went in there throughout the day and eventually ate all the cheerios.

She comes out of no where when we eat and begs for food. She had just finished eating lunch so I thought it was safe to sit down and eat but she let me know my orange is her orange too.

We didn't go to the mall much, but she loves the little play place in there!

She absolutely loves climbing stairs.

Playing at church in her Christmas dress.

Her full Christmas outfit.

Playing with her books

We switched over to sippy cups this month which makes things a lot easier.

Oh and it snowed for Christmas. Yuck.

Another cute Sunday outfit.

Learning to walk at The Little Gym.

Sporting one of her new outfits from her great-grandma Rachel.

We finally captured her two teeth!

Wendy found my scarf, wrapped it around her neck and started playing with my phone. I guess that's what impersonating me looks like...

What a fun month! On to next month where we celebrate this little girl's birthday!
