May has been quite the adventure! We listed our house in Boise and received three cash offers after the first day of showings.

Happy Mother's Day to me! 

I left on Mother's day to fly to Austin to find us all a house. We found out right before I left that the buyers backed out of the sale. So PJ was gracious enough, while watching the two girls on his own, to have showings while I was gone. 

Back to Jabbers to keep the house clean and kids happy!

Sneak peak of our new house!

I had a layover in San Francisco and, when we took off, I was shocked to see the Golden Gate Bridge! If you look closely, you can see a rusted-red bridge between the two islands in the background. 

When I got back, I found Lilly trying to become a pianist!

We found a little car for Wendy at a yard sale down the road. Look out world!

And here it is! The big day where we took off in an airplane to leave Idaho and come to Texas!

The kids were troupers. We woke them up at 5 a.m., taxied them to the air port (Baxter too), boarded the plane and took off to Dallas, TX. 

It wasn't horrible, but it wasn't easy. 

But the girls earned their wings!

We decided to drive down to Austin from Dallas and as soon as Wendy was buckled in the car, she passed out. 

She didn't get to sleep long because Lilly started fussing, so in an attempt to entertain Lilly, I let her take pictures on my phone.

The apartment Apple is putting us up in while we wait for our house to close. Apple has really hooked us up! Paying for us to move out here (air plane tickets, rental cars, furnished apartment, packing & moving our stuff, paying to store it, and paying to ship our car. Thanks, Apple!

Wendy really has a big girl bed now! She's going to hate going back to her toddler bed!

Apple also provided us with some pantry starters. I almost cried after a whole day of traveling to see I didn't have to run right out to the store to get us some food immediately. 

The pool! We've gone just about every day!

Our apartment has some really nice amenities including a roof top deck with a killer view of down town! 

The next day we decided to leave our apartment and it felt like everything that could go wrong, did including but not limited to being locked out of our apartment. That was a hard day but, after an hour in the hall way, we finally got back in and got the girls to bed. 

I made spaghetti one night and Lilly seemed done eating. That is, until we gave it to Baxter to eat...

Every morning Wendy asks me "where are we going today?" and when I tell her "a new park" she says "A *NEW* park!?"

After bringing the groceries in once, we decided to buy a wagon to help us haul stuff around this apartment. We are counting down the days to be able to move into our house!
