W: 2 yrs; L: 14 mos

We have had so many visitors this last month and have had a ball with each and every one!

It's so hard to wake a sleeping baby (toddler)!

Playing in our yard.

Lizards help remind us... we're not in Boise anymore!

Lilly likes to climb atop the play chairs and scream when she's scared to get down.

Lilly received a belated birthday gift from her great-grandma Rachel which she loves!

Wendy received a new coloring book too.
Welcome to our house!

Pictures finally hung in the girls' playroom.

By master, I guess I mean Baxter's bed!

Chilling with Daddy!

In preparing for PJ's birthday, the girls found the balloons.

Wendy washing her hands after she used the potty all by herself.

The girls hanging out in the back yard.

Wendy dressed and ready for church.

"Cheese" with daddy!

What are summers for but for eating Popsicle!

Wendy playing with her train tracks

Wendy making a bracelet.

Bath time in mommy's bath! I think I'm the only one in the house that hasn't used this yet....

Then they got all crazy and put bubbles in it...

Wendy playing dress up again

Daddy fell asleep while playing with Wendy and, when that happens, she promptly yells "Wake up!"

One day she'll quite the pianist!

Lilly wearing the same outfit Wendy wore when Lilly came home from the hospital!

We found a fun jump house play place right down the street from our house which both girls love!

You can barely see Wendy sliding down, but she did!

My sister came to visit and I had tons of fun showing her around Austin!

She had tons of fun with Lilly too...

She also helped me get my overgrown yard in control!

Lilly was waking up super early so we started taking her in bed with us after giving her a yogurt.

Playing at Loco-motion again!

Wendy playing dress up... again...

We have this gate to help Lilly from falling down the stairs but sometimes we accidentally lock Baxter out. He just sits patiently, waiting for us to let him up into all the crazy.

Wendy has taken to asking for bell peppers when we go grocery shopping. One day, when I wasn't watching her, she threw the seeds inside all over the floor. So I handed her the vacuum and told her to clean it up. She did a pretty good job too!

Waiting for Pop and Uncle Tom to get here!

I think we wore them out pretty well.
Playing at the park!

Riding the train.

Going to the zoo

It was hot.

Feeding the deer...

And llamas...

and Lilly....

While we were resting, Wendy found this ceramic goat to ride.

I think it was too hot for Lilly to even crawl around so she just sat in the dirt.

The friendly peacock following us around.

Seeing the animals with Daddy.

This bird kept trying to eat Pop's phone.

Waving to the lioness.

Seeing the ostriches.

We ended our zoo day with going to a popular BBQ place. Lilly has taken to eating chicken right off the bone (yes she is sucking on the chicken leg here)

There's everybody!

And there's everybody's food...

For PJ's birthday, we toured the Austin capitol building.

Then hung out around the house with Pop.
On another day, we went to visit Daddy at work.

There's a tunnel to get inside and then cameras are not allowed once inside. Lunch was fantastic though!
More mommy-bath-bubble-baths

Wendy really wants to learn to climb trees.

Eating daddy's birthday cake after a long day of touring and fun.

Playing with Pop!

Lilly likes to play hide and seek so she kept taking Jeff's hat and putting it on her head, waiting until you said "where's Lilly?" and pulling the hat off.

She thought it was pretty funny

Wendy working it

PJ's peanut butter jelly cake.

His big 3-0! I asked him what he wanted and he said he just wanted a lot of sweets and to be with family. So We had 4 tubs of ice cream, Funfetti cake, PB&J cake, and Dutch Apple Pie. He says it was successful :)

Wendy playing with some statues of children outside the Austin capitol.

Uncle Tom goofin' with Lilly.

While Jeff and Tommy were here, they helped PJ fill in this huge Koi pond in our back yard so it wasn't as deep. Now it runs beautifully!

Lilly likes to chew on her blanket when she gets tired. If not on her blanket, then on us!

Wendy had a 2.5 year check up in which we discovered she is 38" tall which is greater than 97% of children her age! I don't know where they get their height from!

Wendy with her lambies and beanie. I love the outfits she dreams up.

Hangin' with Pop!

Like Pop like....

Working on the pond

This day Wendy decided to be Sleeping Beauty.

Pouring the concrete.

Swimming at the pool!

Lilly playing with Pop's hat some more

Once everyone left, we decided to be adventurous and ride our bikes along the river.

We ended up at a park so the girls could play

And wade in the river for a little bit to cool off.

Happy summer!!
