W&L October 2018

We started off the month enjoying parks between all the crazy rain we had all month.

Wendy made a rock sand castle. 

Then Lilly tried too. 

That night, we went on a walk to see our neighbor's Halloween decorations. 

The rare moment of them both brushing their own teeth! Most times it's me standing in front of them repeating "Say ahhh"

I pushed Lilly in the stroller while I ran to a nearby park while Wendy was in preschool. 

Baxter was tired when we got back. 

In between the rain, we were able to get in one last pool adventure before the real Fall weather kicked in!

Nature walk!

I was running to meet up with PJ and the girls at this trail near our house but, by the time I caught up with them, it started thunder storming!

I use shower caps when I don't want to wash my hair and the girls think they're sooo funny!

PJ came with us on our walk to the park one day. 

There's a huge tree swing near the park Wendy had fun playing on. 

All over the house I find stuffed animals, Barbies, or babydolls "tucked in". This one was tucked in with Lilly's skirt.

This time Lilly got a turn on the swing. 

Wendy's school pictures came back! She looks like such a big girl!

While we were out looking for Halloween decorations one night, we found the one Ted Cruz sign in Austin.

And it worked OK!

Off to celebrate my freindaversary with Christina!

I made a browned butter pumpkin cake with a maple syrup buttercream. It was delicious!

Some mornings the kids get up and immediately start playing with toys. Other days, it's pile into mommy and daddy's bed to watch shows on phones. This was one of those days. 

Wendy got this cool LOL jacket when we did back to school shopping and it is the envy of the sisters. 

Lilly went through a period where she thought she was going to school too. Sorry Lilly, you'll go next year. 

Wendy also got this cool unicorn hoodie she let Lilly have a turn wearing. 

But quickly reclaimed it for herself. 

But that meant Lilly got to have a turn with the LOL jacket!

We were invited to a friend's princess party where Queen Elsa showed up!

Wendy was very attentive the entire time.

Wendy picked out this playdough kit for her friend's birthday but begged and begged to have one for herself. So I broke down and got it for them. They rewarded me for playing with it for two hours!

And Baxter is still around trying to get us to play with him too.

Lilly came with me to check out a camp site and we had some fun at the playground before we needed to head home.

Just a day in the life: Playing dress up!

PJ went to Boise to defend his Master's thesis. He passed! 

The Meridian temple was being built when we lived in Boise but didn't finish until after we moved. It was so cool for PJ to be able to see it when he visited!

And this is what kept him going on his business trip!

Halloween at preschool! 

Lilly insisted she needed the Rapunzel wig as well. 

PJ said he didn't have enough pictures of me so I took this one for him. Me in my true state!

When he got back from Boise, he brought us all Boise State swag. Wendy loves her shirt!

Halloween night! Peter's trying to teach Wendy how to fly. 

And Tiger Lily gets a lesson too. 

It was raining off and on on Halloween night so we only went to a few houses. It was enough for the girls though!

She got to decorate her own pumpkin. 

And they had a rainbow experiment where the pumpkin threw up rainbow colors. She tried tot ell me about this when she got home but it wasn't until I saw this picture that I understood what happened!
