Wendy & Lilly: W&L November 2018

Of course, we're at another park! But this time we brought friends.

This time I rode my bike to a nearby park with Lilly while Wendy was in preschool.

She seemed to like it!

A neighbor gifted us some doll accessories and, before I could hide the bag for Christmas, Lilly found the tub and put all of our little people in it. I guess they needed a bath!

I stood in line 2.5 hours so I could "early vote" but at least we voted!

Lilly loves all things make up. Any time I'm getting ready in the bathroom, she wants "up" and wants all the make up.

I got her dressed for our family pictures and asked her to say cheese and this was her response "nooooooo"

Once she hit the playground, she was all smiles thought.

After family photos, we went to chikfila to get lunch. These girls just love to play!

When we got home, our neighbor was having a yard sale and they loved these chairs.

I was winning until...

Wendy tripped and skinned her knee. She was more mad that I had won though.

We got some Halloween costumes on clearance to add to the girls dress up collection. Frankie from super monsters..

Wendy stamped these hearts out of her playdough all by herself!

If we go to a park with swings, the first thing the girls do is rush to the swings. I have to beg them to play on other equipment to get exercise!

Peek-a-boo!

I was sending pictures to PJ and he said "now one of you!" I was "holding" Wendy's princess crown for her.

Lilly sat on this stump and posed for a picture so I had to oblige.

Then Wendy posed too.

We found some painted rocks (that they tried to take home)

And a huge metal slide!

For Activity Days, we decorated Holiday cupcakes. Here, the girls made a turkey cupcake.

And then Wendy made a Santa hat cupcake.

At my moms group, we had a kids clothing and toys swap and I picked up this castle. The girls played with it for a little while since it was new but stopped playing with it after a week or two. Back to the swap!

Wendy wanted to play superhero so, I dressed Baxter up as her side kick.

They zoomed around the house saving me from various dangers.

We had to switch the girls' bedrooms around because sharing a room wasn't working (they didn't sleep!). So, while I was setting up Wendy's new bed, they played slide on her mattress.

With a trundle for Friday night sleep overs. Lilly thought she was supposed to fit on the mattress under the bed. I think she was relieved when I pulled it out to show her she gets to sleep in the open!

We volunteer to clean the church at various times during the year and the girls accompany us. They found the spinny chairs in the office and entertained themselves for a while.

It's starting to get cold at night so we spend mornings by the fire.

Wendy was sad PJ went to work one day so we took a sad picture and sent it to him.

Then off to the mall where they had a huge 2-story Christmas tree!

Wendy was off to play on the slide and in these pretend cars.

Lilly went right to the tablet display they have there.

Finally they both played together. Dance party!

We have been potty training Lilly so there are a lot of evenings with no pants, sometimes no underwear. This time I think Lilly was trying to get dressed to go outside. She got her hat and shoes but seemed to have forgot something...

There's a Wildflower Center close to our house that is fun to explore. For the fall, they have this fort display where they have 10 different forts built out of different materials. This one was the stick fort and Wendy had fun climbing on it.

Lilly was just happy with her funions.

Lilly claimed it was too loud and covered her ears.

We loved it!

Afterwards, we had a feast (the Preschool provided the turkey and everyone pitched in to bring a side dish) and then the kids got to play on the playground.

Friday night sleepovers for the win!

Nature walk

Lilly is starting to give up naps but when we put her down, she wanted to bring her popcorn with her. So PJ told her "OK, eat your popcorn and go to sleep". She did that, just not in that order.

Date night for mom and dad! We dropped the kids off with the babysitter and went to a movie.

For family night, PJ had the girls color crowns...

And then we had a Coronation ceremony in which the girls declared "I Am a Child of God!" Only, Wendy insisted she wear her crown on her arm.

Lilly was pretty excited though.

While PJ was off for Thanksgiving break, I asked him to clean the bathrooms while I went grocery shopping. He had Lilly at home and I had Wendy with me. He found Lilly in some precarious situations like this one where she was brushing Baxter on her bed.

Then PJ found Lilly eating cheese and throwing some to her homie too.

She even got to sneak a ride on Wendy's princess scooter.

PJ had to run by his office and took the girls with him.

They were so excited!

Then, on a different date, PJ and I spotted this while driving down the highway. That would be a gutted dear on a makeshift hitch on a soccar mom car. OK Texas...
