W&L April 2019

We started off the month with an object lesson to learn about the leaven of the Pharisees. We made some bread dough with and without leaven to see what would happen.

While the dough rose, the kids went to play at the *new* park.

It has a Merry go Round!

Lilly wanted to be buried in the sand by all the other kids.

When they got back, we checked the dough and one was fluffy!

We cooked them off and tried a piece of each. Then left a piece on the counter all month to see which would spoil the fastest. Hint, the one with the leaven spoiled faster than the one without :)

Wendy had Spring pictures in the beginning of the month and Lilly wanted to dress up too. So, we got her in her Easter best...

Life with kids. I stepped out of the shower and once the fog cleared, I found this Barbie spying on me.

The girls still love to play in Baxter's kennel. He's such a good sport.

Drawing on cookies!

We became soccer parents this month so we invested in some chairs to watch Wendy's game more easily. Lilly was very pleased.

Lilly cleaning.

Go Wendy go!

Water Break.

Lilly mostly swings while Wendy plays.

Another birthday party for old friends

Gabriel and Adrian are months apart in age from Wendy and Lilly and we have known them ever since we lived in Boise. Happy Birthday boys!

During church, Wendy and Lilly made these beauties...

My friend had a baby so we took their dog on a walk with our dog. They are so sweet!

There's a roadrunner at Wendy's school!

Playing dress up.

Wendy's climbing tree.

Oh this picture. Lilly is very hard to feed. She likes cheese, yogurt, and granola bars but very little else. So, I started to insist she eat her dinner I make for her. Her response was to cry at the table for an hour, followed by more crying in her room only to fall asleep in agony until PJ got home refreshed to try to get her to eat again. She's slowly improving...

I have planned camp for the teen girls at my church so these were my decorations for camp night where I filled them in!

Morning snuggles!

One hot Thursday, I took both the girls for a frozen yogurt treat.

Wendy got to be the topic for show and tell at preschool and we needed to decorate her board. I asked her to draw a picture first and then we would decorate with stickers. I was so impressed with the picture she drew!

Static energy from jumping on the trampoline!

After preschool pickups on Fridays have become picnic days!

Wendy decorated her board, Lilly wanted to decorate a cat mask... with dolphins.

One of Wendy's soccer games was rained out so PJ took her to chikfila to play. Shortly thereafter, everyone else showed up who had been rained out.

Lilly is a wild card and decided to run back and forth in this entrance at church for a while to get out her energy.

Leading up to Easter, we went on a nature walk to cut some branches to make our own Easter tree. We hung important pictures on it like Jesus, the Bible, and the temple.

This bird really wanted to get into PJ's office to be an Apple employee!

Soccer is back on!

Wendy did so well, PJ took her to her special restaurant: Wendy's!

Then that evening, the girls participated in an Easter Egg Hunt.

Easter baskets are ready!

So cute!

Happy Easter!

Our very own Easter Egg Hunt.

We gave the girls money in their eggs as opposed to a bunch of candy.

We had a candy cake for dinner.

And some friends came to eat Easter dinner with us.

Trying different hair styles for Wendy.

I took the girls to the Dollar Store one rainy day so they could buy their own treats with their Easter money they found in the eggs. This was Lilly's loot.

And Wendy's loot.

Families who brush teeth together...

I went to pick Wendy up after my moms group from her classroom and she was fast asleep! She must have really felt badly because they said she laid down on the floor as soon as I dropped her off, woke up when I picked her up, then slept at home for two hours!

Wendy's spring pictures from school.

I'm working on making blankets for the kiddos and I got Wendy's topper done! The middle are some of her onsies from when she was a baby.

The girls have been begging to wear my glitter make up ever since I got it for Halloween. So, I did my best to cover them in glitter!

We have had many birds come visit Wendy's bird feeder but I was so surprised to see this cardinal in it!

Wendy presenting her "All About Me" board at school.

Wendy's class releasing their butterflies. Her school is so much fun!
