W&L March 2021

Flashback to February, here are some pictures I missed from Wendy's birthday and the snowpocolypse:

Wendy and I went off around 6-Flags to ride the bigger rides and PJ and Lilly went off together to ride the more Lilly-sized rides. She loved all of them!

Waiting to go on the Ferris Wheel.

Lilly loved the "Floating Bus" the most!

PJ and I boarded a flying plane a couple of planes behind the girls to feel like we were having a date.

Usually upside masks don't matter. It was perfect in this case!

PJ went out to try to get a few groceries right before the snow hit and this is what the shelves looked like. Luckily we had food at home!

The girls playing in the snow.

They had leggings on and socks on their hands and sled down a drainage ditch on this inflatable pool toy we had. We were so prepared!

The kids didn't mind.

Lilly helped us shovel some snow for the bathtubs.

And once everything melted, we went to the park! Good riddance snow!

The beginning of March, I hosted bookclub which helped things start to feel a little bit normal again!

If Wendy isn't doing a cartwheel or swinging on her swing, she's probably up in a tree.  She's a great climber!

Lilly gearing up for her bike ride!

We really have to convince her to try to ride her bike. Fingers crossed we can get her to ride it without training wheels by the end of summer!

Our friend's son decided to get baptized but our church building was flooded because of busted pipes from the storm. So someone offered up their hot tub for him to get baptized in! A baptism to remember, for sure!

Wendy running in her fanciest dress.

Wendy has started taking piano lessons and her piano teacher has this cool tree house in her yard. The girls love to play on it before lessons!

What's a birthday in Texas without a piñata!?

Happy Birthday Melody!

The girls were playing with their stuffed animals and invited us to their wedding. It was beautiful!

Out on a family walk... being silly!

Trying to get Wendy to smile for a picture.

Lilly's usually a little more willing.

For St. Patrick's Day, I set up a treasure hunt for the kids which led them to treasure on top of the washing machine.

They were thrilled!

Over Spring Break it was super windy (like 30 MPH winds) but we roughed it at a park anyway.

We found this cool tunnel you can draw on with chalk too.

Skipping rocks.

We had a cooking day over Spring Break where the girls were in charge of making their lunch. They made pizza rolls, fruit kabobs, ants on a (banana) log, ladybugs on a leaf, and chocolate dipped bananas for dessert!

I had my own late night cooking session with a friend where we tried our hand with pretzels. I also made my own queso to dip them in. It was a delicious nite!

Checking in on Wendy at night- she's so sweet!

Lilly refused to ride her bike so we put her in the bike trailer so we could go on a family ride. She's just a little too big....

Lilly loves to dress in all her fanciest dresses for preschool.

The girls children's ministry leaders dropped off a sweet treat for them for Easter. They were thrilled!

Lilly all dressed up for picture day!

And helping PJ do his work.

The end of March was busy with Easter cookie orders so this is the only picture we have to remember it by!
