Back from vacation and on to a neighborhood birthday party!

They had snow cones and water balloons. The kids had a blast!

Of course some cake to finish off the party. 

The next day we went to Locomotion for another birthday party!

Lilly was pretending to be a cat so she had to eat the yogurt like a cat would. Obviously...

Wendy's Kindergarten pictures came in. While I wish she had smiled bigger, I still thought she looked like quite the kindergartner! 

Lilly and I found a new donut place in town!

And we were wondering where she was one day when we found her in the bathroom like this. Work (on the iPad) cannot be stopped for anything!

PJ has started taking the kids rock climbing on the weekends and this was the first time Lilly went to the very top!

Sundays are for napping.

This made us laugh! If you've seen some of Lilly's outfits, you'll know why her teachers voted her to be a dress designer when she grows up.

An object lesson one night about lying. In short: lying does not taste good!

But telling the truth is delicious. 

I had some friends use their super cool camera to film me doing this tap dance I've been learning all year. The girls came along and had some fun of their own. 

I got distracted seeing Wendy scaling this tree. She got down safely!

Then we had Lilly's birthday party!

It was meant to be a pool party but it rained so we told the kids they could just run around in their swimsuits and throw water balloons. They had a blast!

And the cupcakes were delicious. 

Presents are always fun too!

That same day we had Wendy's piano recital. She was a little nervous but played beautifully!

We weren't sure what game the girls had made up but it required them running to each other and hugging so we were all for it!

I had a church activity to go to and the next morning Lilly came to greet me like this. I asked her if she did it and she said "No, Wendy drew a mustache on me". It took a while to come off too...

Lilly went on a bike ride with PJ and brought along her little doggie. 

She's too big for the trailer but we have to get creative on how to work out when the kiddos are home!

Schlitterbahn opened for the season so we packed up and headed out! 

We were also super impressed that Lilly went down a slide all by herself. She's not a risk taker, this one!

Prepping for at-home church. We aren't sure how much longer we will get to do church from home so we're trying to soak it up for as long as we can. 

Back to the climbing gym where Lilly scaled this wall with no problems!

And it is now tradition to get ice cream after climbing. May was fun for all!
