W&L March 2022

During an evening walk, PJ and the kids found a new playground with an OG metal slide.

Wendy breaking up the dirt to find fossils.

Lilly checking herself out in her new Easter dress.

I got PJ a Peloton for Christmas and Lilly has taken to riding it while watching on her iPad.

Whatever gets them to move their bodies and not be couch potatoes!

I found Anna in the bathroom one day. It looked like she had quite a bit of boo boos.

I took the girls out shopping one day and Lilly found a new way to take out her aggression. It might be a valuable addition to our playroom!

Lilly holding court during church cleaning.

We were invited to a really fun party at a local martial arts studio! It had PJ and I thinking about signing the girls up but maybe after the summer.

Off to a birthday party!

Wendy has known Melody since she was 3!

Watching Stake Conference on the TV at home and the girls recognized their OG babysitter!

Playing on the swings...

With the sprinklers on!

Wendy had a special dance performance at school. First she performed for just the students. Then we got to come in the evening to watch!

She's a star!

Track and field day

There were 10 stations she went to to show off all that they've worked on in PE this year. One of the stations was a powder station where the kiddos threw colored powder at each other.

I got to have a bout an hour break and then I was back at school for Lilly's track and field day.

I was impressed with how well she did at each station!

Lawn performances are always made better when PJ's involved.

Spring break time!

Wendy's pick for a Spring Break activity was Urban Air. There was a 6' tall wall she tried over and over again to jump up on. She finally got it!

The girls were super in to making/setting leprechaun traps this year. My friend printed off these golden leprechaun foot prints which the kiddos loved!

While the leprechaun visited both traps, all that was "caught" was clues to a treasure hunt.

At the end, the girls found ingredients to make Lucky Charm treats!

Lilly's pick for a Spring Break activity was to visit the arcade. So, we introduced the girls to Chuckee Cheese.

Lilly loved riding alllll the toddler rides.

Her stuffy Penny kept her company.

Wendy got a new road bike and she has been able to go on a couple of rides with PJ.

Our last Spring Break venture was to make Hamentashen for Purim. They're tricky little cookies to make but super yummy!

Off to visit the Wildflower Center!

They jumped off the picnic table and on to the rope swings.

We were also able to take the girls to see Charlie and the Chocolate Factory so we made our own chocolate bars!

Baxter's still here....

Once they were dry, we packaged them up and brought them to eat with dinner. Lilly made a Pink chocolate with sprinkles and marshmallows candy bar. PJ made a milk chocolate with peanuts and sea salt. Wendy made milk chocolate with mint and marshmallows. I made dark chocolate with almonds.

Wendy loved the show!

Lilly loved it too but at 10:30 at night did not want her picture taken.

Enjoying the warm weather!

Wendy and PJ rode their bikes to church one Sunday. PJ changed in the bathroom and came into church asking me if he smelled bad. Not too bad...

And the kids had the opportunity to sing in church!
