W&L August 2023

Before venturing out, Lilly asked me if I would paint her face. So I said, why not!

Wendy wanted something subtle but ultimately decided to wipe it off.

Mini golfing is just more fun in the dark!

Afterwards, we tried out a cute new bakery in the area.

We tried to do one more family bike ride- it was just too hot!

Taking a friend to explore Wonder World!

When the girls have an after school activity, I give them a little sweet treat to boost their energy. For our "create" day, I thought let's bake a bunch of treats before school starts and have them in the freezer, ready to go!

We made S'more's cereal treats

Banana chocolate chip muffins

and MoNsTeR cookies

Happy Birthday, PJ! We did all his favorites: Rock Climbing

Steak Dinner

And Cheesecake!

The girls saved up their money and for one last hoo-rah of the summer we went to the Museum of Ice Cream

Mostly a bunch of rooms that have interesting installments to take pictures with. Oh, and ice cream :)

Back to school! Our pictures significantly drop off once school starts.

We had to have had the hottest summer since moving to Texas this last summer. So we decided to do an experiment. We took a bunch of broken crayons and timed how long it would take for them to melt in the sun.

Not long at all!

Even though we have lived here going on 7 years, PJ received his 5-year-at-Apple award. Covid slowed some things down...

Supporting Wendy as she sings with her class at the first Mass of the school year!
