W&L November 2023

I got to spend a day with Lilly and the weather was perfect!

One of Lilly's squishes died and she informed us there would be a funeral. We each wrote letters to attach to the paper coffin, spoke some words of comfort, and buried it in the back yard.

Lilly has had a hard time getting going in the morning this school year. The girls saw this turtle pillow on instagram and I told them they could get one if Lilly did all her morning things on time without having to be told. Apparently, a turtle pillow is what gets Lilly going in the morning!

Grandparents Day! We had our proxy grandma- Grandma Mason - accompany the girls as they performed, showed their work, and sat together while they filled out an "about me" sheet.

The girls had a blast!

I got to accompany Wendy to a dance convention. She danced her heart out for two days straight, about 6 hours each day.

She loved it!

The girls' Great-Aunt Roseanne sent them a chocolate advent calendar!

For Thanksgiving break, we stayed in town and went to a park for the first day. Wendy found a friend to bury her in the sand.

After the successful camping trip in October, PJ booked a camp site for Thanksgiving break. The girls were a bit sickly (and I was still recovering) so we decided to bring the camp ground to our driveway. PJ cooked hot dogs and s'mores for everyone.

The girls loved it!

We also had a crafting day over Thanksgiving break. PJ. taught us how to build popsicle stick houses.

And I painted a bunch of Christmas trees.

For Friendsgiving, I made Thanksgiving toffee two ways: Graham crackers, toffee, chocolate, and M&M's on top.

And ritz crackers, toffee, cookie butter, chocolate, and snickerdoodle Lindt balls on top.

Delish!

After Thanksgiving, we said good bye to our Thankful tree...

And hello to Christmas!
