W&L July 2018

Lilly has started to get the performing bug. This is her in her Elsa cape.

"Let it Go!!"

Wendy adding her bath colors in the bath.

I met up with a friend to take an early morning swim in a river spring. The water was really cold for 6:00 in the morning but it was fun to do once!

PJ has been bitten by the running bug so, we went on a family run one morning (PJ pushed the stroller).

Hooray!

Fourth of July fireworks!

Wendy was pretty excited!

Lilly was a little unsure...

Excited!

Terrified.

Excited!

Not Happy.

Terrified.

You get the picture, right?

For the grand finale, I held Lilly and she just hid her face in my shoulder. It was a fun night!

Lilly's 2 year old check up. She rated in the 70th percentile for height and weight and in the 50th for head circumference.

We spent a day at Locomotion- the inflatable indoor play place. Here, Wendy is filling up someone's car with gas.

License and registration?

Preparing to slide down the slide with Wendy.

In the evening, PJ joined us and slid down the slide a couple of times with the girls.

Wendy got a little stuck.

A purple bath for the girls.

Lilly dancing to her little boom box toy.

Swimming at the YMCA!

The girls loved it! It has become our new favorite pool.

Wendy is tall enough to see over the banister now when she walks up the stairs.

Pillow fight with Daddy after work!

Then some Popsicle times.

Ah! A ghost in the shower!

Ponytails for Lilly!

We discovered a new indoor playground right around the corner from the house. The girls had a blast!

Bumper cars!

For the first hour or two, it was enough for the girls to just sit in the arcade games. It wasn't until PJ came with us later in the day they learned they could actually interact with the games.

Bowling time!

Lilly would not go down the slide by herself. I finally went up to rescue her.

Wendy wacking the mole (actually it was the three stooges).

She was really excited about the basketball game- she scored quite a few!

I tried to teach Lilly how to play but she was too scared. I didn't want to waste the money so I finished the game for her.

Saying goodbye to the bubbles on our way out.

Mommy bath!!

Lilly playing with her Princesses at church.

Wendy went to VBS so Lilly and I got to play together all week.

After playing on the playground, we went grocery shopping and then to Costco. Lilly was a great furniture model.

When we came to pick Wendy up, Lilly had a lot of fun with the photo back drop.

Wendy is the pirate.

Then, that afternoon I had to get my car inspected and oil changed. The girls did great waiting at Firestone for 1.5 hours. They got very creative with the toys they had in the waiting room.

The next day Lilly posing with the Photo booth props.

Some of Wendy's creations she made at Adventure Camp (VBS).

With fun days come extreme melt downs. Yes she was just standing in front of me yelling at me so, I got my phone out to take a picture. She calmed down afterwards.

Lilly doing a silly picture after nap.

Swimming at our friend's pool.

The long awaited door! Ever since we moved in, we wanted a doggie door for Baxter and we finally had it installed! The kids even love climbing out of it! Much less flies are let into the house.

For a date, PJ and I went on a hike. It was very pretty!

Until we got to the end.

We thought "where's the view?"

Pretty disappointing to walk for an hour and a half only to get to a parking lot and turn around and walk back to the parking lot you came from.

But we had a good time and got a great work out!

The trail head was pretty at least.

Wendy climbing her tree in her underwear.

Wendy died her baby doll's hair with the bath paints. It came out :)

Wendy helping me make pizza one night. She said "it's just like playdough!"

This is how Lilly wanted to help.

After we put sauce and cheese on the pizzas, they wanted to watch it bake in the oven.

For family night, we made these Hans Solo in carbonite chocolate molds and put them on peanut butter cookies. I shared a message about how we are made or molded in the image of God.

The girls were very excited after they ate the cookies!

Wendy working out with PJ.

Wendy can now drive the Barbie car!

While we were waiting for the carpet cleaners, I had to occupy the kids off the carpet so we made necklaces.

We had a good time.

A rare smile from Lilly!

To welcome in my 30's, I decided to go blonde!

Such a strange process.

But I think the end result was great!

Wendy asked me if she could have cheese for a snack. Then I found her like this!

Cool kid Lilly with her sunglasses.

Having a dinner picnic at Chik-fil-a. The girls shared a peach milkshake to close out the fun.

Wendy loves dressing up like a superhero and dancing to the Superhero High 5 episodes.

Luckily there's a superhero outfit for Lilly too!

Wendy cheesing it for church.

Wendy kept finding this highchair tutu and finally I put it on her to show her it could be a costume. She did not enjoy wearing it but had fun posing.

And finally, finding the yellow brick road with my red sparkly shoes!
