25 Days of Christmas 2019

Here are our Annual Advent Activities!

Day 1: Make cookies for friends!

Day 2: Dance party! Here, PJ is lifting Wendy up as though she were an Angel since she requested to dance to "Angels We Have Heard on High". Definitely still a favorite for her!

Day 3: Make Kindness Rocks. Once they were dry, we delivered them around the neighborhood for people to find.

Day 4: Christmas Coloring! We sent these pages to an organization that sends out care packages to Military Veterans. Hopefully we spread some cheer this year!

Day 5: Christmas Light Show! This house puts on a 20 minute light show and the girls love it! They even remembered it from last year.

Day 6: Fredricksburg "Light the Night" Parade. All of the floats were decked in lights and the girls thought it was pretty cool! This was also their first parade.

Day 7: Ornament Shopping!

Day 8: Main St. Bethlehem. A church a little ways away from us puts on this presentation where you walk through a city block that has been transformed into Bethlehem. At the end is the Nativity, but leading up to the Nativity, there is a whole city to explore! Street vendors, guards, jails, and of course, inns.

Day 9: Christmas Snowflakes.

Day 10: Drive around the neighborhood to look for lights.

Day 11: Christmas Craft.

Day 12: Frozen at Gorzycki Middle School!

Day 13: Christmas Movie- PJ's pick. He chose Elf and it took us a couple of days to watch but I have no picture to show for it!

Day 14: Church Christmas Party!

Day 15: Make Cookies for Neighbors!

Day 16: Christmas Karaoke. Wendy chose Angels We Have Heard on High. Lilly chose Rudolf the Red Nosed Reindeer.

Day 17: Christmas Craft.

Day 18: Christmas Coloring (No picture)

Day 19: Decorate Gingerbread Houses!

Lilly's House

Wendy's House

Day 20: Mayweather Light Display! We have visited this house for two previous Christmases and this year, they won the ABC light fight!

All lit up!

For some reason, Wendy was being a bit of a stinker. We couldn't get her to smile in any picture but it was an awesome light display!

Day 21: Zilker Lights in Austin! Last year, the girls' favorite part was riding the bus!

We made sure to ride the Ferris Wheel this year.

Wendy was a little nervous.

But great times were had by all and a great view of the city!

And then they talked me in to riding the carousel. It is Christmas, after all!

Posing with HEB-buddy! (Our local grocery store has it's own mascot...)

Day 22: Bake cookies for Santa! The girls finally got to cut and decorate their own cookies without us constantly saying "don't eat the dough! We need that for our friends/neighbors!"

I had some decorating fun.

As did Lilly.

And Wendy.

Day 23: Make Birthday Cake for Jesus!

Day 24: Christmas Movie- April's pick!

Day 25: Open presents!
