W&L August 2022

Before school started, I took the girls to a pottery place to paint our own pottery. Wendy painted a Sloth mug, Lilly painted a fairy house and I painted a Halloween cat. We're excited to go back!

Summer rain storms are a good reason to get on our boots and go splash in puddles!

For PJ's birthday, we converted the living room into a movie theatre and watched a movie together!

We created a snack bar complete with pop corn, pizza, and movie candy. 

Out for gelato and we couldn't pass up this cut out!

Also while out at Costco, we had our first Christmas decor sighting. In August!!

I always take a "first day of school" picture the day or two before school just in case the morning of is a little too crazy. 

I got to walk the girls to their classrooms and meet their teachers the first day of school!

Wendy was both nervous and not wanting me to embarrass her. 

We were welcomed to the school by this sign!

And they made this balloon arch for us to take first day of school pictures with. 

PJ also got Lilly a guitar. They had one lesson and it has stayed safely zipped up in Lilly's room ever since this picture. 

We got to have a temple date! The girls always cheer when we tell them we're going to go to the temple. They love their babysitter and love that they get to spend pretty much all day with her. 

We pulled up to the pool and there was an ice cream truck outside. Lilly purchased a Sponge Bob Square Pants ice cream and, once she was done, it looked like she murdered him!
